A handwritten manuscript by Lucy Maud Montgomery describing her visit to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky (designated Mammoth Cave National Park in 1941) in August, 1924, during a family vacation. No published version of this account is known, but Montgomery's longstanding fascination with Mammoth Cave was well-documented in her journals and correspondence, and she later gave a number of public lectures on the visit.
