Abstract

A first day cover (FDC) featuring a portrait of L.M. Montgomery with a stamp featuring a portrait of Anne in the top right corner. Martha Shea was the inspiration for the portrait of Anne of Green Gables. The stamp was released to commemorate L.M. Montgomery's 100th birthday.
