A first day cover (FDC) for the stamp featuring a portrait of Anne of Green Gables in the top right corner and a Colorano "Silk" Cachet on the left side. Martha Shea was the inspiration for the portrait of Anne of Green Gables. The stamp was released to commemorate L.M. Montgomery's 100th birthday. The Colorano "Silk" Cachet features a portrait of Anne and L.M. Montgomery. Her name is featured along with Louis Hemon. It was issued in a se-tenant pair as two characters in Canadian literature.
