Abstract

A first day cover (FDC) with a stamp of Maria Chapdelaine in the top right corner and a Colorano "Silk" Cachet on the left half. The Colorano "Silk" Cachet features an image of Maria Chapdelaine and a portrait of Louis Hemon. Louis Hemon's name is featured alongside L.M. Montgomery's. The stamps were issued in a se-tenant pair as two characters in Canadian literature.
