Abstract

A book of stamps depicting women in the arts. It was number 13 in a continuing series titled "A Philatelist's View of Canada". Each entry provides some history of the female artist and why they are prominent in Canadian culture along with information about the stamp. L.M. Montgomery is the first entry in the booklet. Other women included are: Emily Pauline Johnson, Germaine Guevremont, and Emma Albani.
