Abstract

An article about the release of two stamps commemorating L.M. Montgomery and "Anne of Green Gables". One stamp features Anne and the other one feature Green Gables. The stamp featuring Anne was illustrated by Ben Stahl and the one featuring Green Gables was illustrated by Christopher Kovacs. Stahl had also been commissioned to create 36 paintings for all of the covers and short stories by L.M. Montgomery. This was a joint issue with Japan.
